Re: Kona This coming week?

John, Thanks for letting my drag you around the reef this morning. It was a fishy morning for sure. A little surge but nothing too bad. I'm sorry the white tips weren't sleeping in their usual place tho. And somehow we didn't manage to see a turtle which is rare. Otherwise it was a great morning at ...

More Puako Diving Photos

These photos are from a couple weeks ago... I haven't really been in the mood to post here of late. This afternoon I have a bunch of work to do and I'm running out of ways to procrastinate. My computer's desktop and My Document are very tidy. Additionally my actual desktop is quite clear as well. Th...

Re: Kona This coming week?

If you had told me a week ago we'd be diving one day this week. It's a super busy week for me.... maybe an early morning dive up here north of Kona.

But don't worry... the diving sucks here anyways.

They're just making it harder for you to link to their photos... it's annoying. Read this thing from their FAQ about getting the HTML link to the image. Also when you click on the image and that annoying lightbox thing comes up... you can then click on tge "View all sizes" thing in the upp...

NWDC Terms of Service

I was having some trouble today finding the NWDC Terms of Service link on the site. I decided it might be easier for some of us to digest the long winded contents of the TOS if presented in a more reasonable way : [iframe]http://www.starwars.com/games/playnow/crawl_creator/index.jsp?cs=me9gy8rzu8[/i...

Re: Worst diving movies you've seen

I think the real story with Open Water (the first one) is how it was made rather than the film itself. Four people (including two actors) and a shoe string budget swimming around with real sharks? This makes the DVD extras far more compelling than watching the feature. No special effects, less than ...

H2odoc as Hanna Montana. NWDC keeps reminding me that I can't gouge my imagination's eyes out.

Airsix has a graphic that sums up team diving nicely using a fancy Benn diagram.

What can we ply him with to post it here and Scubabored's DIR forum?

Bob, I'll clear my schedule the moment you book your flight. I may not be able to go with you on KHD every day but you get back from the morning charters early enough we can rock the shore diving. I've got access to doubles and whatever else you may need. Certainly we'll need to hit the Manta dive m...

Worst diving movies you've seen

That stupid Fools Gold movie has some dumb scuba in it.

Thunderball was formative in my early interest in diving and is a typical silly Bond flick.

Kona Boat Diving

http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4076/4827121985_9210419d6d.jpg I recently came across the opportunity to dive with Kona Honu Divers on the cheap. My dive buddy and I decided to book a two tank charter this past Thursday. There are worse ways to play hooky from work. [vimeo]http://www.vimeo.com/13613...
