Yes, I know that what I purchase will probably last me a long time. I want to make the right choice, hence the soliciting of input!. I just dont know much about the PEN setup.

I think everyones expectations are just too high. It isnt possible for every diver to win a fabulous prize, lets be realistic. These prizes are donated. I think they do a very good job making it work. Everyone just needs to be realistic, 150 divers arent all going on a dive trip!

Was ready to go to DSLR until I talked to the oly guy at the dive expo. Now im just uncertain. Been shooting this Oly 5060 for several years, its time. Any input?

Well, I moved up from a dive singles bag last time to a 5 mil farmer john wetsuit that is skycamo and hopefully fits my wife if she will be seen wearing it. Still fun tho! My dive partner got zilch.

Flagpole point, 4/03, from surface to approx 25 fsw, vis about 1-2'. from 25 fsw to 75 fsw, approx 15-20'. Top 20' full of chunky stuff.

Tried to dive Sund Rock today, lot was packed to overflow with 2 classes. Opted to check out Octopus Hole as it has been a while. Only 2 vehicles, with one leaving. Current was unusually strong for the canal, middle of incoming tide on large exchange. Vis was very poor down to about 35 fsw, or about...

Sund Rock today vis approx 8' down to about 40fsw, then a little better, maybe 10-12'. Top layer of water colder than :angry:
at depth more comfortable. First dive with dry gloves, that helped imensely!
