Matt S. on the board has saltwater tanks, you might want to PM him. I had a large freshwater tank for years and loved it, but I know nothing of saltwater tanks. Good luck!

Redondo on Monday was dreadful...I didn't see the bottom until right before I ran into it. It didn't improve much at depth, either.

Hellava way to come back from warm blue water... :)

I used extra strength OFF, and I had some 20% deet stuff that worked well. Deet is toxic to invertebrates, so you have to wash it off well before getting in the water. Other people had great success with Cutters Advanced spray and most people raved about Cactus Juice (http://cactusjuicetm.com , or y...

Roatan/Coco View trip report

Ah, Coco View. There is probably better diving in the Carribean, there are definitely nicer resorts, but who puts it all together in such a neat package? Except for the bugs. Good God, the bugs! No-see-ums abound and munch heartily on tasty flesh. Coco View is a diving resort, not a resort that has ...

Black plastic sheath? The knife is pointy tipped and probably pretty rusty? I think it's mine. #-o My pocket appears to have opened during our dive.

I'm so envious that you two get to take fundies! I really wanted to take it this spring, but life keeps getting in the way. I am hoping I can squeeze it in sometime in late summer or early fall. Unfortunately, work is conspiring against me, and I might have to work late tonight. I won't know until t...

However, we will be spending some time working on drills. We have a class this weekend, so we thought we would practice a little. Probabl...

Anybody diving Wednesday after work? I feel the need to dip my toes in the cold waters of the Puget Sound before I head off to Roatan. :)
