Re: Tech BC??
I tried the DUI weight and trim harness too. I ended going with a weight integrated BP&W. Not saying there is anything wrong the DUI, it just didn't work so well for me. I hope it works better for you than it did for me. AS for my BP&W, I love that it is weight integrated, my buoyancy and t...

Re: Paging Pickup Truck Owners!
Nah...it's not "over-compensation". I own a 24' travel trailer that I tow in the summer and sometimes in the winter so that's why I have an F250 and want to go to an F350. The F350 will be for my 5th wheel.GearHead wrote:I think owning an F350 counts as over-compensation.

Or...you could avoid the isue entirely and buy an F250/350 in deisel and never worry about it again. AND!!! Have a lot more room to boot...hehehe

Re: Relocating to Seattle
Welcome to NWDC...you are joining up with the right crew here. We are used to low viz and low temps too. I must admit I am a bit jealous of you, I am trying to talk my wife into relocating from Portland to somewhere outside of Seattle so that we can dive more. Lot's of good folks up there to get in...

I have to admit I was wondering where this was going on here. Is there something about the OP that is not apparent to me or others. I.E., DID I/WE MISS SOMETHING???

Re: Help US help Washington Scuba Alliance!
That is in the process of being figured out right now Billz. We have been working on getting a site to place the buoy but I guess it is a process. You can always stop by our Facebook page and check in on the progress. We are getting closer and closer each day to our goal. We also have a Buoy Fund p...

Re: Input Regarding Dive Lights Requested
I have not had the opportunity to check out Dusty's lights but everyone says good things about them. At this point in the game I have a DRIS 1K light and love it. Light weight, strong light and the batteries last me for several dives. Good luck which ever route you go.

Re: Getting in shape for diving and for life.
I am guilty too. I am about 45 - 50 lbs overweight from sitting around doing nothing. My wife and I are trying to get the mindset that getting back into shape is a good thing. My doc says I need to do a sleep study, he thinks part of my lack of energy and drive to get up and move is Sleep Apnea. I ...

Oily water spill maybe? Other than that I would not know. My geographical knowledge of the northern Washington area is in need of some help.

Not to sound out of line but does that mean that diving Sund Rock, Sunrise and Octopus Hole would be okay? Danee and I are planning on coming up for our tenth wedding anniversary this month for a few days. We were possibly going to go to Edmonds also.

I just bought two ScubaPro Mk25/S600 combo's that had never been and shelved for three years. I took onee set out and tested it and it worked perfectly. In fact, my SAC rate even improved.

Re: go pros
One other thing to keep in mind. My setup was very floaty before I set it up to open one end cap to put water inside. After filling it with water it sinks like a rock. Before I made my handle I would use the head band for it. The only problem there is that if it falls off you might not know it so I...
