Re: FrFrFr 12-29-2017

Cat naps, cat naps and more cat naps. By time the noon dive rolled around I was rested and ready. I had 350 c.f. of gas to burn, and had no plans of bringing full cylinders home. Mr. Heater, Mr. Coco, and Mr. tent were intregal in helping me make all 3 dives. That wolf eel with the bite out of his b...

Re: Dry Suit Question

Two things, first get 20 more dive in the suit before you make any rash decisions. Number 2, a thinner undergarment might be in order. Especially considering you don't get cold at all. The neoprene suits have some insulation built into them. My dive buddy that is standing next to me, says you might ...

Secret dive site (Stairway to Heaven).

Did a little dive in a secret dive spot on Hood Canal. I've decided to name the dive site Stairway to Heaven until somebody else picks a better name. Had a wonderful dive. Found this little guy while I was there. He wanted to play as much as he could.

Re: Switched over to drysuit finally!

I've had a couple of gloves with a leak. My system wet is still warmer than wet gloves. I use a 3 inch piece of 550 cord with the strands removed to equalize my gloves. If it leaks, I break the seal and pull out the cord. Put the glove back on. Finish the dive 1/2 dry.

Re: Dry glove system with O rings

I've used Kubi rings for a year. They work great. My hands barely fit in the largest ring so the gloves are too small. Once I found the perfect glove, liner combo it's been heaven. Easy on, easy off. Never fail.

I work to pay for diving.

I've been fortunate to find some amazing dive buddies right from the start. I'm on new shift at work so if anyone is interested in a Friday or Monday dive, let me know. The weekends I dive with my girl.
