Re: Back to diving after a long hiatus
Hey Martin, we dive weekly in the Everett area on Wednesday nights. We also intend to start having some weekend A.M. dives soon so I will post here when we do. We are the Bubbbles and Suds group, you can google us, we are on the book of faces and I have been trying to post dives in here as well.

There are many south end divers, I assume they will speak up. We dive Wednesdays "bubbles and suds" but are in Everett.

Re: Newley certified diver looking for buddies around Edmonds.
If you are on Facebook look up Bubbles and Suds. We try and dive weekly in the northend, generally Mukilteo Tdock or lighthouse park. We do head down to Edmonds from time to time.
We also like to dive and drink beer, hence the name. I will try and start posting in here more often too.

Re: Diver missing at Mukilteo Lighthouse park
For those that remember Uncle Pug on SB, he wrote something that has stuck with my through my years of diving here. I don't recall the exact quote, but basically, "Get to the surface and float. With the currents and boat traffic in Puget Sound, sooner or later you are going to hit shore or get...

Re: Diver missing at Mukilteo Lighthouse park
Rick I'm guessing you are reading posts from the same person I am on FB. Sounds like they went in a the T-dock, survivor surfaced at the lighthouse park. That a long ways. Yeah man that is a LONG ways. Newer divers always remember, it is better to simply be floating somewhere, rather than stay down...

Re: Diver missing at Mukilteo Lighthouse park
Someone posted that the two divers were inexperienced. They went in 5 minutes before the poster. Poster said viz was really bad and current was ripping. The diver that made it surfaced near boat launch and he was out of air. Doesnt look promising. I really feel for the survivor, that is going to be ...

Re: Diver missing at Mukilteo Lighthouse park
I will, (and have!) done the T-dock at just about any current, but honestly today's exchange would have me thinking about the lake, and definitely keep me off the lighthouse side even with a scooter. Not seeing any updates other than they continue to search..... Yeah I I tried other stories and som...

Re: Diver missing at Mukilteo Lighthouse park
my mark is the time of morning, in terms of 14+ foot exchange. That sight is pretty current sensitive so really would have been a bad time to be in the water.

Re: [Seattle Times] "What you need to know to start scuba diving in the Seattle area"
Why is it that they don't come and find the true salty divers of this region ? If you're going to do a write-up then find the divers in the area that have been diving here for over 30 years These anger you? What does it matter who they write about? The important thing is that they are writing about...

Welcome to the site. As you are north end you, we (bubbles and suds) tend to dive pretty regularly in Mukilteo and sometimes Edmonds. We meet at 6pm so our dives are "night" dives. If you ever want to join you are more than welcome! I try to post dives in here but you are welcome to search...
