Re: lost yellow pony bottle redondo 8/7
That was us. I arrived in the parking lot around 6:30 pm. Didn't see anything when I went to pay or when rinsing afterward I did a similar thing a few years ago at Edmunds.YellowEye wrote:Hi

Aw Yeah! Mission accomplished!
Hi DLH and I went to Redondo again last night around 9pm, looking for the sixgill. No sixgill, but we did see a lot of small dogfish. There were a lot of plainfin midshipman and small octos too. DSC_1496.jpg Didn't see you.... we splashed at 7:30 or 7:45, scooted out past the bottle field on a head...

Re: Jellyfish sting relief
A couple weekends ago someone on on the dive boat gave me their Safeway card so I could scrape my face with it. I gave it a shot. I've had a few stings in the past and can say that this definitely didn't make it any worse, possibly made it better. It was a pretty minor hit though so, hard to ...

Welcome M_bipartitus! I'm sure you'd be able find someone to help you out. I'll give you a ride at the end of July. However, it would be really cool if you took the bus to the West Seattle water taxi and did a giant stride into Cove 2

Re: Dry Suit Hose Length
I agree, it depends on a lot of things like body shape, suit details like cut and inflator placement. I've never met anyone who doesn't run the hose down the left side under the arm and harness strap.

I haven't been there in about 2 years, not sure why, I think it's a great site. Are there any buoys left on it? I've seen some good maps of the site.

Re: What's new in PADI? Buoyancy, BCD removal and tables.
Buddy breathing is not in NAUI either (except in the Divemaster program) and I don't think it's due to diminishing standards. I'm pretty sure that most agree that Air Share Ascent and Emergency Swimming Ascent are the best options. It hasn't been THAT long ago where there were still J-valves and the...

Pleasant Harbor
Hi all- I just thought I'd share my experience at Pleasant Harbor over the weekend. Executive summary: Awesome time, can't wait to get back! I live in Seattle so it's always easier to hop on the Aluminator or shoot down to Tacoma and hop on a Bandito boat but I hadn't been diving in the Hood Canal i...

MUK T-Dock was stirred up bad by surf/swell: surface to 20fsw was < 5. Opened up to 15-20 below 70. Calm and clear (25-30?slack before ebb) deeper than 90fsw.
