Re: WTB: HP100 & HP120
I have know knowledge of how many dives and OP's skill level. In hind sight if I had to do it all over again, I wish some experienced RB diver would have taken me aside and explained the pro's and con's, long term costs, and tec options. Knowing what I know now, I would have rented as much gear as p...

Re: WTB: HP100 & HP120
Off gassing or not, I'm trying to save this poor soul some hard earned money. Just remember the old Fram oil filter commericals... "... you can pay me now or you can pay me (a lot more) later!" Tim, ignore all these rebreather fanatics, they're just off-gassing. You'll know when you're rea...

Re: WTB: HP100 & HP120
Started with an al80. Then the hp100. That wasn't enough. Then bought a hp130. Still not enough. Then bought a dive rite optima rebreather. Wanted better. Now I own a Megalodon rebreather. So save yourself a lot of money. Skip all the intermediate stuff and get a Meg! Rebreather!!! :hah: Kitty Liter...

Re: this would make yah need to wash yer suit...
Well, then one could change their name to Jonah for real! Everyone knows divers taste like chicken and I am sure they would have been spit out anyways, but how would DAN help you on that one. Call DAN and ask " is being swallowed by a whale covered?" I was diving at the time it happened. :...

I think the whales were just playing with the divers, but none the less, if it were me I'd need a new undergarment

Re: Bummer!!!! Stolen Drysuit
I'm dumb founded. Who in the world would want to steal a used drysuit. At my age memory is the second thing to go..... :nutty: uh I can't remember the first! I usually find missing things are accidentally covered up by some other item. I keep going over and over the same spot, however not seeing the...

Re: Viz Reports Thread
Well its the summer time blues in the diving world. Sund rock 7/7 Interesting note, with a south wind a flood tide seems to have better viz than the ebb at Sund rock. Hood canal has limited water exchange due to its geology. So a south wind forces up deep clearer water (but hypoxic) to the surface l...

Re: Viz Reports Thread
Tis crab season and lots of crazy things happen as fisher people get crab fever. That's why we went to Sund rock on Thursday the 4th. Viz in the shallows down to 20 fsw was typical summer time yuck - about 5-10. Below 20 fsw opened up to 15 - 25 with snot balls hanging in the water column. At 135 to...

Re: Teeth pulled and ear sounds
Nope not tinnitus. I've had tinnitus since being a wee little lad. I live with ringing all the time. Usually go to sleep with some white sound or radio. real PITA!
