Forget it, the NWS just issued small craft advisories. Wind waves 3-4 feet!!!! Great if you in a 35 foot sailboat!

Marine forecast has revised the wind wave height to 1 foot until 1:00 am, where it goes to 2 feet. Anyone still interested in diving tonight?

Re: ThThTh 3/2

Yeah, just checked the weather forecast for Thurs evening - winds out of the SSW 8-13 kts. Wind waves of 1 - 2 feet expected. Given that Redondo has a long "fetch" wind waves might be a little higher. Doesn't look promising.

Re: Viz Reports Thread

Sund Rock Sunday 2/20.
Above the salt water layer - stream runoff and fresh water 25 - 50 feet, down to about 15 fsw.
Below the fresh water layer 15 fsw and below, 10 - 20.
Below 150 fsw, 5 - 15. Looks like someone was stirring up the silt.

Re: ThThTh 1/21

Well bummer, work didn't premit me to dive again. I'm going to need to get the whole day off to make a 6:30 meet time. ... Enjoy the dive folks. I see from the tide charts that we have a 13 foot ebb. Redondo river could be quite active with this much exchange!

Re: ThThTh 1/21

Given the deteriorating parking situation I'd opt for other spots that have better parking. I too have over a hundred dives at redondo and only been affected by the redondo river only a few times. The locals property owners at TTN have become hostile towards anyone using the beach access. The base p...

Re: Viz Reports Thread

Leschi wall is located at Madrona park on lake Washington . Begin dive at the swimming platforms, head straight out to 50 ffw, turn left and kick for about five min and you should run into the wall. Wall decends to about 185 ffw.
