Thank You Seven Sea's Scuba

I owe a big thank you to Cary Herb, Nicole Pratt and Seven Sea's Scuba. In April my dive light stopped working. I took it to Seven Sea's Scuba and they sent it off to be repaired. The light maker is a well known company, not some small operation. 3 months went by and there was no word, the company d...

Re: Make location mandatory profile information

Not to mention, some of us just don't want you knowing our location. You could go to the trouble of asking. btw: The value of “Max Depth Reached” is too large, a maximum value of 999 is allowed. wtf? D Well, we have members who have claimed to have been deeper than that..... They must have special ...

Re: Fin to fit the colossal Whites Evo 3 boot size 14/15

I dive the Hollis F1's, I wear the same whites boots in a size 10 and my fins are XL. Those fins are awesome but they are really snug, you probably need a 3 or 4 X in the Hollis.

Re: Warm water diving weighting

Last summer in Maui we rented tanks and weight for the week, it was about 40 dollars. We then paid about 3 dollars a fill. As for how much weight, do a check but I bet you will be about 8 pounds.

Re: Northwest Dive and Travel Show Photo Contest Ringer

If she sells some of her photos, then how is she not considered a professional? I probably have a dated view of this, but from a contest point of view how can she be considered an amateur if she took money for her photos.

Re: EPIC Vacation and Key Largo

Was the cruise kid friendly? I don't know how old your kids are, but I would say the cruise was kid friendly. They have a pretty decent pool with some big slides on the deck. For teenagers they have a really nice area with video games and a rock climbing wall. There is always something to do while ...

Re: Bare XCD2 Drysuit

The Bare XCD2 is a fine suit. It is made from highly compressed neoprene and is very durable. I have one as well as the newer XCS2. I have never seen or heard of bubbling or delamination with this suit. On the other hand, the Bare SB trilam suits have had issues and sales of these have been suspend...

Re: Bare XCD2 Drysuit

For what it's worth, I have seen a few of those suits delaminate. I personally know of 4 different people that Bare had to replace their suits because the material bubbled and leaked.

EPIC Vacation and Key Largo

My wife and I just returned from the Caribbean and a great vacation. We flew to Miami and spent a week on NCL’s cruise ship the EPIC. We went to St Maarten, St Thomas, and Nassau. Our boat was beautiful, the entertainment is fantastic, and there is always something to do. Cruising is not for everyon...
