Treasure Hunt Fundraiser
I will be doing the Treasure Hunt again this year on April 22. It was in a good spot last year with the golf balls hidden in rocky areas. No silt to deal with while looking for them. Helps support Washington Scuba Alliance.

Howdy! Who's up for ThThTh 3/1 + dive #2 afterwards...? Redondo 6:30 meet. Night diving cert required. There's a huge ebb going on, but hopefully we'll be out before the worst of it, but do take a look. :partydance: :taco: :partyman: Oh, and anybody have a pair of regs I could borrow? Back on day s...

Re: Redondo Beach Dive Site Development Project
Is there a public comment period and contact person/place that will allow us to communicate directly to the Des Moines City Council and/or whomever the agency that is overseeing the environmental aspects of this project? (similar to discussions put forth by Jen re: Saltwater restorations) https://w...

Here's a link to videos of the Des Moines meetings.
The links didn't work for me but I am at works so maybe they'll work for others.

Re: Build a reef at Redondo
Great news! Is this as a result at all of the success at Saltwater State Park? partially...one of the concerns is that many of the local dive areas are not legally protected as a dive site. The state could come in and make changes as needs arise. With the proposed plan at Redondo, the site would be...

Re: Build a reef at Redondo
Washington Scuba Alliance (WSA) is working hard on this. Please consider joining and/or renewing membership. Only $25 a year. They also do a golf ball hunt during the scuba show in April, another way to support their efforts.

Re: Build a reef at Redondo
Here's an update from Mike @ WSA: Hello friends and colleagues, I’m happy to report the Washington state capitol budget passed the legislature late last week and was signed by Governor Inslee. Funding of $500,000 for the dive site at Redondo Beach was part of the budget. Senator Karen Keiser was in...
