Re: Wide Angle lens?

Has anyone tried the lens rental websites? I think I'm going to rent a couple lenses before I commit to one

Re: Wide Angle lens?

I've been reading reviews on the Tokina 10-17 and folks with the D3200 are saying the auto focus doesn't work. My housing doesn't have a manual focus option.

Wide Angle lens?

I got a cheap (aka:free) wide angle attachment for my 18-55mm lens on my Nikon D3200 and I have been having so much fun with the wide angle, but the quality sucks. I'm now looking for a real wide-angle lens but keep running across more add-ons. any suggestions on what I should be looking for?

Yeah, the parking challenges won't be any different on Thursdays because the Farmers Market has their own 'free parking' and isn't really that popular. We're just experiencing the woes of summer

Discovery Channel and Bubbles & Suds

So we have the Discovery Channel film crew here at work today filming for their show Behind the Scenes. I'm running around in my Bubbles & Suds sweatshirt and they ask me about it. Who we are and what we do. Bubbles & Suds is now on the map, boys! :taco: :joshsmith:

Possession Point Fingers 5/28/16

Some shots from yesterday's dives at Possession Point with Moss Bay dive club. I was expecting to encounter a lot of nudis but they were actually quite scarce.

Re: Repair my suit or get a used one?

Hmmm, neoprene ends up losing it elasticity after a year and 100ish dives and it ends up smelling like butthole which doesn't wash out. At least this has been my experience with my neoprene neck seal. I'm so looking forward to going back to latex.

Over the last year or so I've seen several times when we had a bunch or quarter sized juvies at local sites. Unfortunately that has not seemed to translate to the mid teenage size, let alone the adults. Until we see the juvies that have dropped out of the plankton stream survive to adulthood I'm af...

Re: Our cephalopod overlords

I read an article a few years ago about the relationship between the hum bolt squid and the tuna fish. It stated that the two feed on similar prey, and with the tuna slowly becoming less of a competition the squid population is increasing dramatically.
