i have a set of oms lp98s in my shed, new vis and hydro, currently filled with some left over mix. there actualy mavericks but they have been in my shed so long its time for them to go.

(you want to avoid anything using CR123s, which are very expensive to buy locally, and may be hard to source somewhere when you are traveling) lowes has them in a 2 pack from surefire for like $6, i use them in some regular flashlights around the house. they are right next to the duracells for like...

the upgrade is awesome, a new mother board and lots of goodies and yes, the screen is eye popping... one of the more generous upgrades I've ever seen by a dive computer manufacturer. some of the best money I've spent. Shearwater looks out for it's existing customers even as it perfects new products...

i allways keep my o2 reg on my bottle period. if it bumps and pressurizes i can depressurize it slowly.

I use hogs on my back gas primary and all deco / monkey tanks. Great breathing , affordable, kits are easy to get, and the company stands behind there products.

scoot is about 2 years old with the battery being only about a year. has about 50 dives on it and still gets an hour burn time on speed 4-5 and 40 minutes on 7.
