Re: Need help resolving an intractable problem, LED or HID

Just made this choice last week. I went for the 21w HID 5hour and e/o cord. I was tempted by the led but I did not want to sacrifice any brightness or the ability to adjust.

Re: Computer back up

I use an Uwatec bottom timer and like it for simplicity sake. It is easy to read and has yet to fail me. I have a Diverite Nitek Duo as well that is a good choice for a two gas computer as well as a bottom timer. Though I prefer the Uwatec. I would look into the Hollis DG02 as well. Its a single ga...

Re: Light Monkey 21 Watt HID Ordered :) Case suggestions ne

The case I use is a Doskocil.

I think it is the second one down in this link. http://www.gunaccessoriesusa.com/guncas ... ncases.htm $24.95

I previously used it to carry my pistols but it is now permanently part of my dive kit. It is no Pelican but it does the job just fine.

Re: Precison Propulsion Recommendation for Fins

I have recently gone to Hollis F1's and overall like them. I'm not sure I'm sold on them 100% though. They feel a bit light imo. I kinda miss my old Turtles and may wind up going back to them if I can find a set that fits my new drysuit boots. If I was to buy a set today it would be the Turtles.

Re: Why the short can?

Hee Hee Hee....yeah, if you ever want a quick education as to how the rest of the dive world views "us", try taking your "Hog" harness, long hose, BP and wing on a vacation to one of the popular islands in the Caribbean or the Pacific! The other divers will look at you like you ...
