Re: Info please for China Wall (Blakely Rocks) & Waterman's
There is a buoy on Waterman's Wall now? Is it a WSA one? I don't know. It was just a plain buoy, nothing remarkable. It actually isn't on the wall (the anchor sits at 30 FSW), but makes an excellent tie up spot for the boat, out of the traffic lanes, not far from the beach. Yeah that's a private mo...

Re: Info please for China Wall (Blakely Rocks) & Waterman's
Hello! So we dove China and Waterman Walls yesterday, and they were excellent dives!!!! I was rather apprehensive about Waterman since we were approaching a slack into a flood, and all that's been said about waterfalls at the wall. We tied to the buoy, and jumped in, followed the line to the bottom ...

Re: Best practices for optimal foot warmth?
My DUI shell suit has neoprene socks attached to it, and underneath them I wear the heaviest wool socks Patagonia sells. I am not sure it matters, but I wear Whites Evos over all of it (which I like much better than DUI Rock Boots). My feet have always been warm, never an issue. Good luck!!!

Re: Info please for China Wall (Blakely Rocks) & Waterman's
China Wall is not especially current sensitive. As of 9days ago the buoy was gone unfortunately. Maybe its just all twisted up. It is possible to anchor on the sand flats above and north, but tough to find it swimming downslope that way. Maybe do Norrander's deep or the Boss instead if the buoy is ...

Info please for China Wall (Blakely Rocks) & Waterman's Wall
Looking for pointers please on diving China Wall (a/k/a Blakely Rocks), and Waterman's Wall. Two of us will be diving from a friend's boat, and the friend will be staying on the boat. (1) Do these two dives makes sense to do one after the other? (2) If so, is it better to do one before the other? (3...

Re: Need Detailing? Metropolitan Detail Is Your Answer
Yes it is like a clear film. It's called ceramic matrix, and it's made for gel coats. My boat gets an ugly, extremely difficult to remove yellow-green stain on the bottom if it sits in Lake Sammamish for any length of time. BJ says the wrap will make the grime easy to remove, and won't need to wax t...

Need Detailing? Metropolitan Detail Is Your Answer
Our very own Maverick owns Metropolitan Detail in Bellevue, and they do an excellent job with a free loaner car to boot!!! My truck was coated in sap, and needing help. They did an excellent job inside and out, resulting in a shiny and sap-free truck. The loaner was very nice too, as I would have ha...

Should have asked to take a picture with him (with his license plate in the picture) for your "log book". Hey Rich, I'm going back through some old dives in my logbook, and realized that I need a photo of you, without pants on, smelling like battery acid, in front of your truck with the l...

Should have asked to take a picture with him (with his license plate in the picture) for your "log book". Isn't A2Z is still around as a dive club? I thought I read that somewhere. But, he sure didn't sound like he was actually going diving (at least underwater, maybe into a car, not the w...

I have a large, heavy duty wagon. Can't we throw the dive gear in it, then walk down to the water pulling it behind us?

Re: Tacoma Equipment Dive on Saturday
The MOD on 32 is 111 FSW, so can't really go much beyond 100 FSW. The poster did say it was an equipment test dive, which could mean it it is intended to be a very short dive, and AL80s could handle that. And perhaps both divers are skinny too, as each diver would be sure the other has enough gas no...
