Re: Folding Gear Table Recommendations?

I knew you guys would know! I can’t find that HD one anywhere, not even on eBay. The Lowe’s one i think is this: IMG_5818.jpg It looks decent but I’ll have to try to fold and unfold it in person to know. Same thing with that Dewalt, it all depends on how hard or easy it is to use and also the height...

Folding Gear Table Recommendations?

I’ve seen some divers with folding tables for getting in and out of gear in parking lots and now I’m thinking the right one might be good for the back (and vehicle). I’m looking for something plenty sturdy but also light and easy to use enough that with full gear ready to go, gloves on etc, I can fo...

Re: NWDC Site Upgrade

I've looked into it and I can't figure out why it reverted back to Eric's old avatar. Rather than altering anything else I figure Eric if you still have your newer one to upload that may be our best bet since everything else seems to be working ok. Sorry about this!

Re: NWDC Site Upgrade

Okay that is really strange Eric. I will look into how that possibly could have happened. It may or may not be an easy fix. Thank you for the heads up.

Re: NWDC Site Upgrade

Sorry to hear that Eric. Did you just recently upload a new avatar or was it awhile ago? If it coincided with the site upgrade we may have overwritten your new avatar inadvertently. Or if it wasn’t recent then I’ll try to figure out what may have caused it.

Happy New Year Everyone!

Just a heads up that the board's software has just received a major update. Please kindly let me know either here in this thread or via PM if you experience anything unexpected or not working correctly.

That is terrifying. What a janky charging station in that photo. And why is the Coast Guard being sued?

Re: Apple Watch Ultra as a Dive Computer

I have an Apple Watch Ultra but have not had a chance to dive with it yet. Hopefully I will be back in the water in a few weeks where I will use the Depth app (effectively a bottom timer) as a backup for me Perdix. At some point I will try the Oceanic+ app when it is available, but doubt I'll ever ...

Apple Watch Ultra as a Dive Computer

Has anyone tried the Apple Watch Ultra as a dive computer yet, or know anyone that has? I’ve never been interested in Apple Watches until I saw this as a possible dive computer. I wouldn’t trade my Shearwater for it, but I am surprised and happy that Apple is even thinking about scuba divers. I wond...

Thank you for sharing this Magoi. While it sucks habitat is being disrupted and removed, I hope the new structures provide new habitat for many years to come.

Re: Ocean Plastic Waste: A Problem Globally & Locally - What Can We Do?

It’s so strange that styrofoam recycling isn’t more widely available (for example, accepted in our recycling bins). I remember in college chemistry class we made, then reversed styrofoam and it was a fairly simple chemical process (easy enough for us idiots to carry out). When converted back a huge ...
