Boom! Right on Don! Glad to hear it!
Now time for me to get serious! Just got a minor spanking from the doc for being a bit too doughy, so see ya soon in my skinny pants...

Re: Hello from Bellingham!
Welcome to the board. As is often mentioned to new members on the board, if you're looking to get dives in, be sure to check out the weekly dive groups under the dive planning section. You'll get a warm welcome at any of them.

Re: My son and I are new to diving
Very awesome and all the more so that it's already having such a positive impact on your lives. And I'm adding to the chorus about gas management... Very good that he dealt with it well from the sounds, but not a position you want to find yourself in, so glad to hear people weighing in to both train...

Octopus Hole 1/20/14 - ~20ft

Re: Sund Rock -11/16/13 - Interesting Critters
Asked an arachnophile buddy of mine about the spider. Here's what he had to say. Weird. I think it just fell in. The saltwater would do strange shit to the body's coloration. I've never heard of any spider, anything from Araneae, living in saltwater. Argyroneta aquatica lives underwater, but only in...

Re: New Divers in Steilacoom
The person selling I bet has no idea what the seasons are... but if they did, man, that'd be poor form not to tell you. Seems like I usually buy my license from some 17 yo high school kid that has no interest in fishing, though, so probably good odds they just didn't even know or care... But clams s...

Yeah, sorry about that.
Razor clams are a hoot if you got a shellfish license. PM me if you want details. Not open yet, but will be soon. There may be a winter season on crab, too... just depends on what got caught over the summer.

Hate to rain on your parade if I am, but most of the sound is closed to crabbing now fora couple weeks... Hope you had plans for one of the areas that was open... or else, really sorry to be that messenger. :( http://wdfw.wa.gov/fishing/shellfish/crab/ We're down in the south, too... Kitsap actually...

Nope. Not tonight. Was diving all weekend and my wife's getting back home tomorrow after 3 weeks away on work, so I need to chisel the first layer of grime out of the house before she gets back.
Someday I'll ThThTh again.

Sund -- So bad in the first 30fsw that I have to say NEGATIVE 5 feet... (I couldn't even see the lens of my mask).
Better below 30fsw, though... maybe 25 ish feet or so on average. got worse below 60fsw again to 85fsw down to maybe 15 at the sea pens.

I'll look forward to reading it...
An ancillary question might be how do you get a wild wolfie to hold still while you inject it's face with dye?
I can't manage to get my domesticated dog to cooperate long enough to give him a bath, and that's painless and on (mostly) dry land.
