Well i will be with al80 tank.
Unknown at this time what 7-10 min of air for me is...will only know that with more diving...so until then exit water with 500psi...

If i am headed to shore and get tangled i have extra time to get out of it and still be safe.

I would expect to leave the water with 7-10 min of air left in the tank for a maximum duration dive.

I submit to those who are experienced that if this is not enough tell me and i will listen.

I cut my foot pretty bad on barnacles sat and its not close to healed. I also got stuck with my works on call pager so no diving this week. Looks like i wont be going to sekiu after all....dang...

Update...

Looking less and less like i will make it up to sekiu to dive. My gear is not up to par and after a family reunion last weekend i think my wife and i could use some down time. I will keep updating as weekend looms closer.

As far as renting goes, its just not for me...i own what i use, i hate renting...its just the way i am and i am stubborn...

Its not an O ring that is wrong with the BC...its the rubber stopper that presses against the nipple of the positive air from the octo...It has worn into a ring and air squeezes by. its a slow leak and probably will only take 10 min off my dive time at 30-40 feet...
