Best fin for a frog kick

My son in law almost exclusively frog kicks and it is time to gift him a new pair of fins so what fins do you frog kickers really like. I was thinking the Hollis f1 or f2 . I really like my f1 but I don't frog kick much so I can't be a really good opinion
Thanks

Re: New Broco cutter

actually it only takes a 12 volt battery to start the flame and then no power is required. It is a pretty cool toy and one that Dave plans on using to make the Prop from the Rush arrive into his front yard. So Dave N you better talk to Dave S about borrowing it before he gets the wheel that you have...

Underwater cutting torch

I have been working on a project the last couple of days. It is a barge that sank at is mooring and rolled. It is now sitting with about 10 feet of the bottom and side showing leaning on a drop door and a piling . it may possibly be fouled around the piling which will prevent us from floating it aga...

Re: Warm water fins

I really like the Scuba Pro nova fin they look different and had some issues at the start but they provide with an easy kick with great propulsion I don't use them much unless i am just out finning around the block, but when I do i have been told that I can get moving. They come standard with spring...

Re: Tank rack for a small boat

the roll control system would work great for your application the key factors about it is that it folds flat out of the way when not in use, that is why i am using it, I don't have the deck space that I can dedicate when I don't have tanks on board. If you are not worried about moving the rack take ...

scuba community in the greater NW

I just wanted to say that almost every time I sign on to the board I am surprised for the sense of community that is demonstrated by the divers here. It is represented by honest opinions of equipment when people ask, to returning lost gear with out any lecture on personal responsibility, to helping ...

Re: Tank rack for a small boat

thanks for the suggestion I actually have used the pipe racks on Fl charter boats and they worked great I was hoping not to take that much permanent space on the deck I also have used the roll control and think that they are nice set up . The cost for the system does not bother me however I hate the...

Tank rack for a small boat

OK my new to me boat is in the shop getting re powered and should be ready in just a couple of days. On thing that I have not settled on is the Scuba tank storage system for the boat. The boat is a Parker 17 which has a nice sized deck which should work well for 3 divers or 4 if we were snug. I am l...

Re: Juneau dive shop situation

Hey Dave we have to get together on this. I took 9 of my tanks over in July and Phil serviced them while Kelli and I did the shopping thing. Hydro is in the same building and Paul will do any Hydro you need while Phil is doing the rest of your stack. So if we get together I am sure we can cut the tr...

Re: Life Insurance for Divers

When Completing your application you need to make sure that you are 100% accurate on every question no mater how the agent tried to lead you. I spent 20 years looking for the variances which allowed the Ins company to either reduce coverage or if the omission was such that underwriting would not hav...

Re: Life Insurance for Divers

I also would be interested in the information on agents who understand diving. I have been talking to INS companies looking for coverage and 2 agents asked every which way that they could to try to get me to say I never went below 70 feet. I investigated life claims for 20 years so I know what would...

Re: dive computer recomendations

Ok a quick review of my new Kaon. I think the picture speaks for me about the underwater opinion. Compared to my Aladin Prime it is a thing of beauty to see and work with. The tap interface above and below the water is awesome to work with . The size of the computer is actually small for what I was ...

WOW if I could find a way to get them to Sitka I would snap these up. I would love to have a set of 119 doubles or even 2 more single 119.

Anyone coming to Sitka to dive soon?
