Foot heavy on trim
Wet, but getting a dry suit for Xmas.
Thank you for the suggestions! I will start with posture, not bending legs down from the hip, and arching my back.... See what that does and I'll report back.
Thanks again everyone!

Hey purple, When you do the boat thing try to talk them into KVI tower as a first or second dive. It's a for sure must do site. And now...... Slow drum roll, For what I think is the best site in the sound. Come on up to Port Townsend and see more in one dive then you will in 2 at most other sites. ...

Foot heavy on trim
I've noticed that the great divers I've been fortunate enough to dive with all have great horizontal trim. When I try to rest horizontally I have to fight though because my feet want to sink. I'm guessing this is because all my weights are in my integrated BC pouches (I use a Zeagle Ranger) on my wa...

Re: Sunrise?
What, is redondo a crappy site? I've never been. If that's where people are going this weekend, and it's not too far, then I am going to go. And actually, I was able to conjure up some other people to take me to Sunrise in a week, 12/9. I am glad I can humor you though. (; No, Redondo is fun. Just ...

Re: Sunrise?
Hey plurple, thought about you today while diving Titlow. I've never seen so much purple underwater before! The ledges are purple, the rocks are purple, the shells are purple, the sunken beams...purple, even some of the crabs are purple. Titlow = a purple universe! Also, this is pretty funny: I thin...

Re: Putting OW students in drysuits
I wonder if it took you 10 dives because you were still so new? I'm hoping that when I get mine in a couple of weeks that the learning curve will be short and sweet. Worked too hard on my buoyancy to lose it all now...

I saw at Evergreen dive last night that they offer a dry suit option for Open Water class - it's $50 extra.

Re: Titlow - Or Bust!
I was getting 10:57AM from Plan Your Dive with the settings adjusted to Titlow Beach. Either time is fine with me. If we enter a little on the early side there might be some intial current but conditions will be improving as we go. When I made an earlier attempt at Titlow I used the Plan Your Dive t...

Bubbles and Suds 11/30 Mukilteo T-Dock
I'm just joking (based on the other thread about decent fills). I get my fills at either Evergreen, the Naui Tech shop, or UWS Seattle or Edmonds. Evergreen usually has the lowest fills, the Naui shop is the most consistent, and I've had some of my best fills from UWS especially when they throw the ...
