Re: Gig Harbor 2/26 & 2/27
Hi Jim- no one said anything to us at all, other than pedestrians asking us the usual dive-related questions (which we love answering). Go for it!

My 2 brothers, their girlfriends, and I spent a couple of days diving in Gig. We had drug "Ugly White Boat" up the previous weekend for ... nudibranchs were everywhere. In between our dives we motored across the harbor for lunch at the Tides. We could have dove the Burton, but we were ...

Re: Gig Harbor air fills?
If you open your new beach house to vagrant Oregon divers, I'll help you move We'll have a couple of rigs, so we can drive for air. Not sure on which sites yet- probably the Burton, maybe the Anna Foss. We'll go with the flow depending on how the conditions look. Suggestions?

Re: Gig Harbor air fills?
Tacoma is a 10-15 minutes closer than Sound Dive Center in Bremerton, but you don't have to pay to cross the bridge to go to Bremerton. Tacoma Scuba, and Sound Dive Center both have air and 32% banked, and would be able to get you in and out rather quickly. I would say the one advantage to Sound Div...

To the best of my knowledge the only shops even remotely close would be in Tacoma especially if your going by boat. The only other one I know of is Sound dive in bremerton.

A few of us are heading up to Gig Harbor this weekend- any recommendations for air fills in the area? We're bringing a boat load of tanks (literally), but it would be nice to be able to get fills while we're up there. Thanks in advance...

Gig Harbor, Tides Tavern dock - about 15 ft, until the silt got all stirred up digging bottles out, when it went down to right about zero... But we had a damn fun time and found some cool bottles!
