Re: i just saw this job
my friend does this, and has a totally different set of gear and a full face mask, dry hood, and drygloves, and says its zero viz, and he means zero vis. the water smells like that nasty rotten mud that you find in a swamp with no water movement and has a film of oil on top. the gig makes him pretty...

Re: HOG regulators
I have spoken with "agent 47" and he has told me that his account here was hijacked, "most likely by the mods here because they have all his information". He EMPHATICALLY denies that he posted in this thread. Another thing to leave to the people with a J.D. behind their name. In...

Seems like its paid, but actually just a happy customer. I'm not advertising!! but its not a wrap for the gel coat, its a baked on Pre ceramic Sealant. should help, only put it on sea going vessels in the past, but fresh should be even less harsh, so no worries there. thanks for the Kind words RICH!...

total BS, you think maybe it was one of your tweek newbies who knew where the divers den is, and what you had, and what you unloaded, new students are usually not ready to dump money into gear. Just a thought. sorry to hear about your loss. I have a set of LP 98's OMS tanks banded and manifolded i w...

Re: Maritime Documentation society (MDS) Dives missile Silo
Glad you had fun, BJ, but this thread bums me out. I had an offer from Dan to join but I bagged out due to schedule conflict, no gas available in town (still) other than air, and lack of overhead training. Despite the multiple reasons not to go I still wish I had. Jake, regarding sidemount: There w...

Re: Maritime Documentation society (MDS) Dives missile Silo
Very cool! So if someone were to take sidemount tanks and drop them down the shaft, load them on the kayak and drag them down the 1600' tunnel, wouldn't that be more comfortable? You could do the walk in nothing but a BC and harness. Just thinking out loud. ( for Lynne) :stir:   YOu guy...

Re: Maritime Documentation society (MDS) Dives missile Silo
it can all be considered over head, although really only the control room is, and that was half the dive. I had dubs and an 80 and I like more gas than most, because i like to know i have enough gas for me and my CCR homies if needed. but you could use a 130 if you like its your call. most take a 10...
