Re: CCR Experience?

Hi Craig (Silent World) is a good guy to talk to either way... tons of RB experience. He likely carries some CC model(s) as well (he certainly used to). Also, even the Explorer should give you a feel for rebreathers, even if you don't end up on that model. You can start to get a sense for backmount ...

Re: Restoration project at Saltwater State Park

Thanks! Very cool!

One suggestion I made was to make the park available for night diving :)

TuTuTu 6/30

Hi ScubaJess and I went to Three Tree yesterday. I don't have photos to share yet (my son is dominating my lightroom machine) but thought I'd share some highlights for those of you thinking of going out. Will post photos later. The purpose of the dive was to try to see and photograph squids laying e...

Re: Shaw Island, July 9-13. Anybody?

I'd be really curious to see if someone has done Broken Point as a shore dive. It looks like there's a nearby road.

I may be up for trying it!

Hi
Are there any shore dives there?

Beer rankings

Hi
http://www.msn.com/en-us/foodanddrink/f ... ocid=fbmsn

Sculpin IPA ranked 3rd best beer this year. I've tried it, it is good (but expensive)

Anybody tried the rest of these?

Books are a profit center for dive shops, they may require you to buy the books.

Isn't it all online now too?

My cove 2 damage assesment

Hi ScubaJess and I dove Cove 2 for the first time since the kayaktavist barge anchor incident, to check out the damage. Most reports I'd heard online said the damage was very minor. I disagree. The best part of the site, "the piling of life" is largely ruined :( Knocked down, twisted aroun...

Snorkeling with the seals

Hi This past weekend I went on a "snorkeling with the seals" charter up in Nanaimo BC with my kids (12 year old twin boys) and my sister. This was with Sundown Diving (http://sundowndiving.com/) with Chris Miller as the captain -- a great guy I've done a lot of dive charters with. This was...
