Northwest Dive Club

Well, I'm out. Lost my wetsuit last night.... kind of killed my desire to dive today.

Oh good! The thread title scared me for a second. I thought I might be in trouble for something. And certainly not because I drive like a maniac or anything....or because I have a NWDC sticker on my Jeep....

Location - Cove 2

Dive 1 splash time - ~4:30 p.m.

Dive 2 splash time - ~6:30 p.m.

As always, there is the potential for food and beer after dive 2. Hope to see you there! I will be there for dive 2 for sure, and possibly dive 1.

Nice report Lynne! Great pics as always. Incredibly jealous of your Puget Sound king crab sighting (that is what's in the first pic, right? For all I know it could just look similar)! I have yet to see one of those. It is one of the few creatures that I actually give a rat's a** about seeing.

Alright, now that you think you have a source, mind if I hijack this thread and ask what they do/are for? I have never seen them, and I am honestly curious.

That was an awesome trip report! I loved all the little comedic (non-meg) rebreather jabs. Those were hilarious. I can't wait to get up and dive those wrecks

Dive 1 - 4:30 to 5:00 splash

There is a shop on Greenwood called Central Oregon Diving. The shop owner is a guy named Walt. I used to dive out of that shop back when I lived in Bend. It's a nice place (the shop, not the town (sorry!)). Welcome to the board!

yeah because it was his 200th career dive and he got caught in a line entanglement. had nothin to do with his breather.. pretty much 100% user error.
