Totally down with Sund Rock ... it's worth the money.

Re: Dry glove system with O rings
For small hands, I think a great option is the Viking bayonet style system. Easy to install, less expensive than a lot of others, and very reliable. But they're smaller diameter than some other systems, which makes them a better choice for women or guys with slim hands.

One of my co-workers was catching these off his fishing boat out in the Straits. He asked me what they are. Re: Some pics from my recent trip to Barkley Sound
Thank each of you who posted. I miss diving horribly, and your pictures are a treat. In my trips to Barkley Sound, I was driven by two attractions: shipwrecks and six-gills. I was shut out on six-gills, but I remember the wrecks of the car carrier Vanlene and an old steamship, the HMCS Thiepvel. Th...

Re: I promised my wife a camera
I have a camera for sale. Might be a bit more than you're looking for, but I'm offering it at a good price. It's a Sony Alpha NEX-7, with a generic housing. Comes with a dome port adapter for wide-angle photography, a spare battery and charger, and extra o-ring for the housing. I used it once, for a...

Jess, right now Megan's looking specifically for pictures of Maury Island barges. I suggested that she ask here, since it's been several years since I've dived that site.

Re: What is you favorite recreational tank size
I don't really have a favorite size, it depends on the circumstances of the dive. I own HP130's, HP119's, LP95's, and HP100's. Overall I prefer the 100's, as they're relatively small and lightweight. However, they're often not enough gas unless I'm diving sidemount ... in which case I'm carrying two...

Dori and I decided to stay inland and drive to Yakima to see if we could get away from the rainy weather. We wanted to go hiking at Cowiche Canyon. Re: brightness of handheld light for the sound
Dusty lights are a great investment for the recreational diver ... but they're really not designed for tech diving. Nor has Dusty ever suggested that they are. They're less expensive than tech diving can lights for a reason. Right tool for the right job ... there's more to consider than just brightn...

Re: brightness of handheld light for the sound
To make the point succinctly ... fish broilers are fine as long as everyone on the team has one. Mismatching lights ... with one buddy's light being much brighter than the other's ... isn't a good idea if you are interested in using lights for signaling and for passively keeping track of your dive b...

... and the point I'm making is that when one diver has a much brighter light than his dive buddy, the buddy's light is useless for signaling ... you won't even be able to see it over the cone of your much brighter beam. It has nothing whatsoever to do with shining in your eyes ... even if used prop...

Dusty light for the price is tough to beat, but not nearly as good as my Light Monkey 35w HID. ... but if all you want to do is look at stuff you don't need a light powerful enough to boil water.
