I brought this up a while ago, (probably a year ago) and basically you have to go to spokane, or oregon to find someone to teach it. Hard to believe there's not SOMEONE local who would teach it since there was a bit of interest at the time.

Also, with as much crap I will get from NWBrewer, be carefull buying used, or at least stick witha lam. I have no idea what you're talking about. I would never make fun of your wetsuit..... :la: When I find another company, and a few grand, that will make a big ugly yellow suit, I'll probably repla...

Lawgoddess' first equation will tell you how the temperature effects your tank volume. Bob's equation will tell you how much volume you have in the tank assuming that both fills are at the standard tank temperature (it's around room temp I believe, somewhere around 70 deg F?? One of the more knowled...

I dove the Saskatewan wreck in BC a few years back and a fellow diver was diving with HP 120s (singles, not doubles) and would suck them dry before I reached 1/2 with my 80s! Most definately we all breathe differently, and will use differnet amounts of gas on a given dive. The problem with diving m...

No, I'm certified, I have my AOW card also. Some folks dive EANX EVERY dive, I just evaluate my dive plan and decide if it's called for. For instance unless I go to doubles, or am doing 4 dives in a day, EANX at Edmonds Underwater Park doesn't make a lot of sense, but doing dives like the Mukilteo c...

Dive tonight at Mukitleo 8/7/07
Anybody interested in a dive tongiht at Mukilteo? Tides and current look pretty manageble if anybody wants to try the wall, but the Silver cloud would be fine with me too. And if somebody's feeling really adventerous I'm willing to swim to the Oil Dock. Say around 4:00? TCWestby? Sheahan? Anybody? :...

I have no idea if one is technically required by law at either place in Mukilteo. I've seen people use them over by the Silver cloud. They are both city parks, and I've had chats with officers at both parks, nobody has ever asked my about a dive flag. There is some debate about the usefulness of div...
