That sinking feeling......
When you look through your tanks and realize 6 out of 10 are out of hydro.
Conclusions:
1. You haven't been diving nearly enough because if you had this wouldn't be a surprise.
2. To remedy number one your going to have to part with a few Scuba units!

Possession point ferry mooring bouy.
The WSA web page doesn't give a current status about the bouys they have placed. Is their bouy on the ferry still there?
Thanks for any current info.

Re: Setting up a SIB/RIB for diving?
Thanks again for all of the info at the start of the project, I just realized I never did put up pictures of the project. It's been a long winter of projects from rebuilding the entire water pump/lower seal, splicing line, rebuilding, cleaning and balancing the carbs, more gear aquiring, and curren...

Re: Spokane to Keystone Oct 12....Helpful suggestions?
Yes the guide rope leaves from the southwest corner of the pilings and stays at roughly 40' all the way to the jetty. This rope also marks the point along the jetty at which the current can try to take you around the end. During a big exchange be very cautious if you proceed past the rope going deep...

Re: Spokane to Keystone Oct 12....Helpful suggestions?
Even though you have a larger exchange at Keystone doesn't make it undivable. You can do one dive as a pillings to jetty drift dive and then do just a jetty dive. You will be limited on how much of the jetty you can see but it is still worth it. YMMV.

I have dove the trestle creek train wreck. Not bad but a long drive even from my house. I would love to hit the "trifecta" with a local guide. Is it better in winter or summer?

Re: Marine surveyor
You might want to find a separate surveyor for the power plant. At the very least have someone examine compression, the valves etc. I would not spend the money on oil analysis, some try to upsell that and believe its god's gift to surveying but its really not very useful unless you know what the an...

Marine surveyor
Hello all. I find myself in need of the services of a professional marine surveyor. If anyone has someone they would recommend I would be very grateful. The boat is located in the Everett area if that makes any difference.
Thanks for your suggestions!

Re: Craigslist deals
Only downside, is when you slow'm down too much , heat builds up in the motor, and the VFD will shut it down. Unless you have a temp sensor input from the motor to the VFD it has no way of protecting the motor from slow speed overheating. That's up to the person setting up the parameters to put in ...

Re: Craigslist deals
If I may....... With a scrap tthree phase motor and a couple of capacitors anyone can have three phase power in their garage. I run a lathe and two milling machines with a home made rotary phase converter. The one downside to this is that your three phase motors will only produce about 2/3rds their ...

My home is at 2,650' here in beautiful Eastern Washington. The one time nitrogen got the better of me I knew before getting a...
