Day Island

Dove Day Island today, with Troy and Leah. My first time diving Day Island. Vis was good, 20+. 2 Octos, 3 adult wolfies, and a juvenile wolfie. Thanks to Troy and Leah for putting up with me.

Elise, I have heard about how little your comsumption is. However, I own and dive 4 AL80 tanks. One of the few dive gear purchases I wish I could take back. For all the above reasons, I wish I would have invested in steel. Sigh....

Tropical Fins

Considering a new set of fins for my Cozumel trip in 2 weeks, as my old Mares blades look like hell, beat to crap. Jet fins are too wide for my nifty roller dive bag, so I would love input on a good fin. Was looking at the slingshots, but dont know if they are really as effective as the advertising ...

I have the 12W Light Monkey LED, and it has the knife on the goodman handle. To tell you the truth, its kinda not really useful, other than the hey thats cool factor. Small knife, might be fun trying to use with drygloves, and wouldnt take too much to loose it as the oring that holds it can slip off...

Thanks. I tried to find E6000 at home depot, but no go. So as long as my tube of aquaseal hasnt dried up as well, Ill be using it after the suit dries out from club dive today.

great app, ive seen it in operation. Problem is, it doesnt work on all android phones. I have a Hero Sensation, and it wont even load.

Thought about aquaseal, but was worried that the glue layers would be too thick, and not flexible enough. It looks like it had some type of contact cement before. I havent heard of E6000, readily available at any dive shop?

Drysuit repair

I have an old Andy's shell drysuit, has done a great job for the last 9 years. But the kneepad has come unglued at the top half. What type of glue can I use to reglue this back into place?
