Dive club dive at Day Island Wall. Entered the north trail, went north, then back out where we came in. Wolf eels got fed ling cod meat and sardines (they probably ate better than we did). Best viewed in HD.

Re: For Sale HP 100 Doubles Galvanized
FWIW, the Dive Gear Express set comes with Faber tanks. The Fabers will add about 8 pounds of buoyancy over Worthingtons. I know this because when I was diving singles, I started out with Worthingtons. I was wearing just enough weight so that at 500 psi at 15 feet, I would fin pivot. Wanting extra t...

I think it's the other way around, the best way to make 1 million is to start with 2 million and open a dive shop.

Re: Computer Advice - To Lynx or not to Lynx, that is the question
I recently certified a student on Peak Performance Buoyancy. He too uses a wrist-mounted computer on his right arm leaving his left hand free to adjust buoyancy. In this class we performed an ascent without visual reference up to 15 feet to then performed a safety stop, again with no visual referenc...

Jan K, saw one Saturday at Skyline Wall, about 3 feet in length. Didn't hang around long enough to get a picture.

Re: Computer Advice - To Lynx or not to Lynx, that is the question
And another vote for Shearwater, and for wrist mounted computers in general. I used to use Cobalt 2 computers, they are very good. But what I really like about wrist-mounted computers is that I can view the computer on my right wrist to monitor ascent and descent rates while controlling ascents and ...

Re: Sledgehammer at Lake Cresent.
At times I've wondered what it would be like to take a helicopter tour through the Grand Canyon, but of course, you can't fly aircraft below the rim of the canyon. Then a few months ago I got to do a scooter run through Sledgehammer. I no longer need to wonder what flying through the Grand Canyon mi...

I recently went to God's Pocket and I filled out the paperwork both ways. Smooth sailing and I was at the front of the line getting on and off the boats. Check out http://www.nwdiveclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=23456

Excellent video. I had no idea NC had that kind of diving available there. Sure don't see that kind of fish density around here.

Good work to the two of you to reach out as you are finishing your OW class. This is a great place to meet up with other divers who go out on a regular basis. Check out the ThThTh group http://www.nwdiveclub.com/viewtopic.php?f=28&t=25537 and the Bubbles and Suds group http://www.nwdiveclub.com/...

Re: moar geek fu AKA stuff to do with your equirectangular images
The image itself runs fine on my Surface Pro (i7 with 16GB of RAM). However, when I click on the "Stormwater Video" link, the video is jumpy and the audio is fine. When I go straight to Vimeo outside of SneakBeak, the video runs fine. BTW, really good video, I just had to share it to my ti...

Re: Hurst Island Diving Resort......
We were up there a week or so after you. It was all good until Russell took a dump on my dry suit that I left hanging over the railing. Fortunately the 135 degree water coming out of the light green garden hose did the trick (on the suit, not on Russell).

God's Pocket May 14-18
Twelve of us from the Marker Buoy Dive Club made the trek up to God’s Pocket. We were up there for five days, most of us got in three dives a day. It’s safe to say we all had a great time. If you haven’t heard about God’s Pocket, read on. The resort is on Hurst Island; a 45-minute boat ride NE of Po...

Hello Andy,
I see a group from Spokane that comes over at least one a month to dive and train at Cove 2 here in Seattle. Check around the dive shops in your area and see if you find any making a weekend trek out here to the "left coast". Next time I see them here I'll get more info.
Cheers

I can't believe that this was my first visit to this dive site. Had a great time. P.S. YellowEye saved my dive as he had an extra hood he loaned me.
