Re: Viz Reports Thread

King Crab??? PSKC!!! Almost spring time, and love is in the air (water) :luv: Also, Mukilteo T-Dock on 3-17-18 was a dark 8-10 ft on dive 1 down to the geodome at 55 fsw. 2nd dive was a little better even with the ebb, still a murky 15'ish though. Pretty strong halocline at 8 ft near the stormwater...

Re: Bonaire, December 2017

Interested in hearing more about your dive at the Lighthouse. Did you have a wind reversal or calmer conditions, or did you just go for it? We had two days during our trip with no wind on the east side. Being first timers, we were clueless the first day. We met up with a couple in the evening who h...

Bonaire, December 2017

Since there has been a pretty epic run of trip reports the last few days, I figure I'd throw another out there from our trip this past December to Bonaire. We did the standard 6 days of diving + 1 day of sightseeing (and 2 full days of travel) the second week of the month, after finding fairly cheap...

Re: ThThTh Invades Anilao, Philippines

Absolutely amazing photos! Can’t wait to see the video work also. Anilao is one of several choices for my 40th bday trip next year if we can save up enough.....pretty sure this report seals the deal!

Re: Trip Report, Florida Keys: actually just a video :-)

Thanks for sharing. The goliath in the cave was super cool! I have some very fond memories of diving Molasses Reef up around Key Largo a few years ago. Can’t wait to return someday and hit the wrecks!

Re: Redondo: where did all marine life go?

I haven't been diving enough to notice any long term changes in the sound (other than the sea star wasting), but I feel like I have started noticing seasonality in the dive sites over the last few years. I had a Cove 2 dive last October when the water was still warmer and the seaweed hadn't died off...

Re: Viz Reports Thread

Skyline Wall in Anacortes, 2-24-18: Decent 10 ft today, maybe even a dark 15 ft at times. The cucumbers are out feeding again so everything was really colorful. Found a big king crab at 60 ft :norris: Made up for only seeing one candy stripe. It was snowing when we got in and cold, but oh so worth t...

Re: Neah Bay, August 2017

Wonderful snaps & report! I love Neah Bay. Can't wait to go back this summer. :) It's so amazing to see the China & Tiger rockfish, they were super friendly and followed me on my dive!!! :luv: :eric: :joshsmith: We went on a small hike after our dives to Cape Flattery and saw wild Puffins a...

Neah Bay, August 2017

My first trip report as a new member! Last August, I was able to make the journey out to the peninsula for 3 days of diving outside of Neah Bay on the Lu Jack boat. We stayed at Curley's Resort in Seiku the whole time where a compressor for air fills was conveniently located, and made the commute ev...

Re: Hello from the north sound

Thanks for the welcome guys! I was at Keystone on MLK weekend when a bunch of you guys were there. I think my friend John from Gone Diving (with the giant beard) might have been talking with a few of you. I recall someone having a flooded drysuit! Yelloweye, Mt Baker is having a pretty good season s...

Hello from the north sound

After a bit of time lurking around on this site and poaching gear from the buy/sell, I figured it was time to finally join and contribute. I've also probably said hi to a few of you out at Keystone on the busier weekends. I live up in Bellingham and try to get out diving a couple weekends a month. I...
