The death rate of new born Octos is very high as Bob mentioned.

I know the Seattle Aquarium kept about 100 babies when its female laid eggs the other year.
Not 1 survived.

The other new hatchlings were released into Puget Sound so it is not known how many of those survived.

I am a 5'1" tall woman. I LOVE my HP 119's !!! I also own 2 HP 80's nice little tanks. They are joining as we speak. I do weight more than 100 lbs. But lets be honest... HP 119's are big heavy tanks. I have to agree with the guys here. Go as big as you are comfortable carrying. I don't NEED all...

Vis is over rated.. When your talking diving Puget Sound. Some of the best in the world (IMHO). The critters are amazing here. Waters not cold if you have the proper gear.
