San Salvador?!?!? Awesome! I was spent 6 years of my childhood down there, falling in love with tropical lakes, skin diving / snorkeling, and had my first tast of the ocean there. Let us know if there's any good diving to be had!

Speaking of food, what's the chance of picking up something edible for the bunch of us while we are underwater?!?!? (except for Sea Cucumbers, of course!) :vom:

Is crab season open? Lings? Scallops? That would be so cool! :bounce:

I've never done this dive either, but have heard LOTS about it. It is kind of the Holy Grail for wreck diving here in our neck of the woods. It is a deep dive, but doable. I would suggest an experienced charter rather than taking a boat and doing it on your own. Teal Water Charters has July 29 to Au...

I went Saturday, and it was amazing! In a sense it's almost "better" than real life.... i.e. animals floating off the screen and into your lap! (Of course NOTHING is better than the real thing! :supz:

Don't miss this IMAX flick!!!!

I haven't heard of that, Sparky.

Cesarea is a really cool place above water... Roman amphitheatre, Aqueducts, etc. It must be amazing underwater. I am definitely going to try and sneak away from our tour for a dive or two next year!

Israel launches world's first underwater museum at Caesarea

Here's the article

This looks like an amazing dive site! What a great idea in an archeology rich part of the world. I could see Egypt, Greece, or Turkey following suit with some of it's underwater sites.

(Sorry I couldn't figure out how to properly post the URL. Help Calvin!) ](*,)

I will echo Bassman's appreciation of Titlow. Always lots to see, easy access, and Steamer's restaurant for after dive relaxation! That being said, I'm still a relative newby with 27 dives (but who's counting?!?), so I've still got LOTS of time to explore new sites in our great Pacific Northwest! :s...

Greece! Hmmm.... sounds interesting!

I'm going to Israel in July of 07 and have been making plans to dive the Red Sea out of Eilat for 2 to 4 days. :supz:

I had been looking at a cruise of some of the Greek Islands, maybe I need to be planning a dive trip there as well!!

I would bug out Sat evening to go back to Lakewood and do Church, but could head out again Sunday afternoon if there is still diving goin' on! :bounce:

I have a USIA Aqua Pro Plus. I've got about 20 dives on it, and so far it has been a great suit. I went with a custom suit to fit my mutant fat boy body, (I'm thinking of starting the fat old geezer division of Northwest Dive Club!) I needed a pretty tough suit to survive bumps and scrapes, and it h...
