That is sounding pretty darn good. What are water temps like and are you diving your 119? I want to give the doubles another shot, so I think I'll drop 4lbs, maybe even more since it's freshwater.

Crap, I just realized that the date and time of the dive on Saturday conflicts with an Open Water class I have for my Divemaster training. Is there *any* way we can move the dive to the afternoon?

I will doublecheck on those OW dives.

I just sent out the following email to my friends who don't visit the site often, feel free to copy and paste into an email of your own: Hey Folks, I'm wondering if any of you are interested in doing this Invertebrate ID class. I did the Fish ID with the same instructor and she is tops when it comes...

I did my first doubles dive today. It was awesome. Dave, Josh and I did a dive to around 95fsw, then we dropped Josh off after about 30 minutes to the buoy, in about 50fsw, then Dave and I headed out for another 40 minutes at around 85fsw and ended the dive with a final time of 1:05, with 1200 psi l...

We wouldn't be cutting it short, Josh. But you'd have to come up after your tank and we'd likely go back down after surfacing.... or, I might have problems with my rig and end it after 1 dive. It's up to you, we'd love to dive with you.

So, are there any other folks interested in the club dive tomorrow night? I'll be trying out my new twins and Dave will have his pair so I'm wondering if there is another single-tanker to pair up with Nailer99. If not that will work too. :bounce:

Great job guys, I noticed new listings from BASSMAN and diverdown and they both look terrific. I also added 'Max Depth' to the list of essentials, since that would probably be helpful for planning.

I have been to Belize. I am actually much more impressed with Honduras and Mexico as far as diving is concerned, but I only got to Caye Caulker and Ambergis Caye. I hear that further down South by Glover's Reef it's much nicer.

Oh, ok. I thought that was kinda odd but I didn't want to offend you in case you were being serious. I still like analog records =D>. So yeah, there are plenty of deals to be had for around a grand, you just have to be opportunistic about it and find a rig that someone has put a lot of time and effo...

Now that would be cool. And we'd all walk outta there cursing our drysuits and wishing we were in the tropics together. I know that UWS puts together some sweet travel deals. We can practice putting together trips to Hood Canal and such with the hopes that one day we can all make it to Cozumel toget...

No, it is a MiniDV camera. If you're going 8mm or hi8 then you'll find something much more affordable. But, video setups are pretty reasonable these days for digital. I've seen more than one good setup on eBay for a Sony TRV camera, once a very expensive rig and very good resolution. The problem wit...
