There was a buoy on the pinnacle that is north of pleasant harbor, when I was there. If I remember correctly the top of the rock was about 25fsw. Awesome dive.

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I am also very thankful for the quality instruction I have received. I hope to never witness a death diving, and I hope that if I am able to recognize a diver who is too rusty, or poorly trained to be safe, I will be able to help in some way, to prevent a tragedy.

Personally, if I couldn't afford a dry suit I would lean towards a semi dry suit. You want it to be thicker than 7mm around your torso, 7mm on your arms to allow movement.
