Well, it is a long surface swim.....

Getting the word out never hurts....I was unaware of the boating limitations for EUP for a long time until I read about it on another board. I don't have a boat, though, so it never really applied.

I don't think diving or swimming is allowed in Lake Union. Why not? Cuz the SMC says so, at least without a permit. I imagine it's pretty gross anyway. SMC 16.28.020 Skin diving or scuba diving permit -- Areas required. A. It shall be unlawful to engage in skin diving or scuba diving in the followi...

Peter, you could also notify some of the dive shops around here. I found a weight pouch at EUP and took it to the UWS near there. It was reunited with it's owner fairly quickly because she called to see if anybody had found it.

Star Trek and the Holy Grail

I was cleaning up some bookmarks and came across this gem. To quote my friend Mike... "I declare it to be the ultimate geek video, upon which all other geek videos shall be judged and fail."

SFW, but you have to have sound. Enjoy!

The group that I went with planned the trip about a year in advance. The reserved the whole resort, and started gathering people. They had a payment plan type deal where 1/3 was due in late summer, another 1/3 in November or December, and the last due in February before they had to release the rest ...
