Re: Light advice

+1 for the halcyon focus..

I have one and it's an led that's as bright, if not slightly brighter than 21w HID..

AND you can completely focus the beam!!

Battery runs for 6 hours on bright and another 10 on dim..

Love my light!!

Re: Faber 100 cubic foot tanks, add four pounds

Yeeowza.. I just checked and for HP130 tanks, the Fabers are actually 1.5lb POSTIVE per tank when empty.. Probably on the ass-end too.. :rjack: That really really sucks for a steel tank.. Worthington HP130's are 2.0lb negative per tank when empty and trims out really well.. So, if you have 130 doubl...

Re: Faber 100 cubic foot tanks, add four pounds

Yeah, I would not think twice when borrowing HP tanks to just dive them the same as my XS tanks.. when In actual fact you would need to add 4-5lb on a set of doubles.

These tanks suck..

Now I'm extra sad that Worthington stopped making tanks :(

Re: Faber 100 cubic foot tanks, add four pounds

Dang, thats a big change between HP tanks.. looks like Fabers are about 2lb lighter than the Worthington when empty. I was not expecting that much of a swing.. Faber = -0.59lb v.s. Worthington = -2.5lb http://www.xsscuba.com/tank_steel_specs.html http://www.bluesteelllc.com/cylinder-specifications.h...

Re: Your Thoughts on Liquivision

I have a couple Xens and really like them for the same reasons as above. If you are looking at a bottom timer, its pretty great and I'd go with one. I also have a Petrel and If you are looking for a full on dive computer especially one that can do trimix and ccr in future, I would also recommend the...

What Captn said.. they check in trucks when you board.. especially big trucks that look like you may have stuff to hide :)

And filling out the forms are brain dead easy and they are usually super friendly when you do and put you right up front.. first on and first off!!
