We had a solid 30ft in places yesterday morning at Cove2. I am ready to get a full face set up for jelly season though, no OOG's doug. We need to do a better job slicing and dicing the jellies. You around on Saturday? Doing a skills dive in the AM at Cove 2, but if you wanted to scooter at some poi...

Deep Sea Charter July 8th

Ok NWDiveClubbers, seems like you are dominating my Charter on Sunday, I have 2 spots open, one was a cancellation and his buddy is left without one. I said I would put the word out for her. Let me know if there are any takers. Deep Sea Charter Sunday, board at 9:00 - 9:30, still watching the weathe...

Ahhh come on, poor Spokanians, I was just out there last weekend, and to my suprise; they have some good lake diving. Cool wrecks at recreational depths, and some deeper ones too.

Cool, another person to check out is Scooter Sellers underseaadventures.com
He is also NAUI-Tec and is the top dog with NAUI-Tec for cave training, originally trained by Jarod Jablonski, and I hear his reputation is strong in all Cave circles, which I guess can be hard to find.

Re: DCS Films' new website

My existance based on the tiny world my HID allows, a reel line, him with a camera and only the desert to explore. Dude, that is downright poetic . . . =D> :partyman: no kidding, when the diving juices are flowing (No I am not referring to kool-aid Doug) my expressions unleash. yes Dan has solid vi...

Re: DCS Films' new website

This is a few local guys, including Dan Warter who puts up with me at NWSD. They're doing some pretty cool dives and some nice work with the video camera, and have a new website . Thought some of you might find it interesting. And not to mention, he's Vegan too, no; kidding aside Dan has an amazing...

Amazing how fast we can lose our gas in a failure, specially towards the end of the dive, cheers for zero feet.

Ahh the decision between eCCR and mCCR, first off beware of the statistics, the majority of CCR deaths were before mCCR became mainstream, and be careful to boast those numbers if you are a mCCR diver or want to be one. Murphy's law is pretty active in the RB arena. Whether it be KISS, Vision, Apecs...

Doug we can talk in great detail as well as workshop the skills involved.
There of course more variables concerning your ascent, but there are also methods to determing what might be wrong within the CCR diver's loop.

Regarding CCR deaths. I believe the #'s are around 43 private CCR diver deaths, but that # can be debated. Nearly all were during the dawn of the Inspo, mostly credited to lack of refined training. For a period there were hardly an instance, the last 2 years the numbers have increased. Most have bee...

EV0 & INSPO are the only CCR's on the market with CE rating, whether that means anything. Many rebreather deaths have occured with no reason why just as OC, as I said the CCR will just play more active of a role. Hypercapnia is the least of troubles in modern design CCR, it is a technology a cen...

I will plunk down my 2cents although that's about all it's worth. Like I say CCR is not for everyone, and CCR's don't kill divers, divers kill divers, CCR will play more of an active roll than OC. Search long and hard within before making the plunge and dive the unit you are most comfortable with. Y...
