Hi Jesse found a nest of stubby eggs the other day in the hood canal that was so close to hatching you could see the squid inside the eggs. Very cool. #2 -- I think it is a sea gooseberry. There are lots of these at Redondo these days (as are there juvi plainfin midshipman, as shown in #3),

Hi Kneedeep, happy to show you my camera closer on the next dive, as I'm sure many other ThThTh guys would.
My recommendation (if you haven't already done so) is to get a macro lens and a dslr and learn how to use it on the surface, then get the u/w stuff later.

Cool. But if I were flying in 3d, I'd want a 1atm wet sub!

I saw this at Redondo the other day.
A detached sunflower arm, with what looks like eggs on the end of it. Anybody know what's up with this? Are these the eggs of the sunflower star? I assume they won't hatch?
