Let's beat this horse one more time please.
So I'm in the market for a nw BDC, I hear everyone raving about backplates and wings. I have looked at a few and like the backplate idea as my tank flops from one side to the other now and then. I have a dui weight harness that I like but also like the weight intergated convenience. Currently I use ...

Re: First drysuit dive.
I am still working on the weight with my drysuit, my first dive was with 38 pounds. Apollo drysuit, steel 90, sweats and a 4 pound light. It was a bit much, next dive, 34 pounds, better but a touch light. Next dive will be 36 pounds, I'm 6 foot 225 pounds. Hope this helps.

Two weeks ago after a dive, a lady came up to me because her boyfriend had lost his 32 lb belt. I don't have her card anymore.

I forgot about the Narrows Marina. There is a ramp located in Cedrona cove but it is tide dependent.

Re: Which boat launch for Fox Island dives?
Lets see, Gig harbor comes to mind, but if you really want, there is a dirt ramp just past the Fox Island bridge on your right hand side. I know of a few others if you need one PM me and we can talk.

Re: What's your advice for a new diver in 10 words or less?
"Log your dives and record how much weight you carry." I've seen too many new divers overweighted and near drowning on the surface, or underweighted and unable to dive. All because they can't remember how much weight they carried on the last dive. Yes I second this one. My dive log is sti...

Din VS Yoke.
I did a search on this and came up short. I'm very new to diving and spend a great deal of time (to much) researching things. My buddy has his own gear and most people I talk to seem to have Din setups, not Yokes. But the shop rents yokes, I have not asked if they rent Dins however. Is this a person...

Ok, oh well the depth works at least. I can pull it out and put the Matrix in there. I was given 2 and put new batterys in them and they both work!

I got lucky and was given about 30 pounds of soft weight. I just need a few more and I'm set. Now to find a harness.

Old US Divers depth gauge.
I was given an older US Divers depth gauge, it works fine but it has an led strip on it in the lower half. Above that it says bottom time and surface time. Does anyone know where I can find a manual for it? I looked all over there web site and got the manual for my Matrex but not this one.

Re: Weight in belt/harness or in your BC?
Good points, I feel better now. I am going to go with the DUI weIght harness as the belt kills my hips as I walk. Then the rest in my BC.
Thanks,
Chris.

Re: Whats Your Sign?
On my OW dive cert we had a seal swim by right in front of us. I kind of got used to expecting to see at least one every time I go diving now! My instructor was screaming I thought, what's up it's just a freaking seal! I guess they don't hang around sunnyside much.
