Alright, now this is a bit more like a proper introduction thread! Apologies for the initial response. I do think you understand where we were coming from however. Welcome to the board! Hope you're here to stay

Re: Introduction
Yeah, this is getting ridiculous.... If you want to sell your used gear, go put it on Craigslist. Don't post it here unless you actually have an interest in being part of the community. It comes across as rude....

Re: Epic diving on Hood Canal
The water here was noticably milkier and more yellow than the rest of Hood Canal. It was next to a heavily populated swimming area.... :smt064 And here's the embedded video: Thanks for the trip report! It was a hell of a day. Truly epic. I can't wait f...

Re: WTB backplate and single tank wing
For what it's worth, I love my 40lb Hollis wing. I think you will find a 40lb wing will work great for steel tank + drysuit diving up here.

Re: Narcosis
What Spatman said. I am actually surprised that no one brought up CO2 narks earlier. CO2 is much, MUCH more potent than Nitrogen, and most of the times when people are experiencing heavy narcosis it is because of the CO2, which is caused by heavy exertion. Its potency and dependence on physical acti...

Re: Narcosis
I joke about getting narc'd....and it is kind of fun. But all joking aside, diving narc'd is not a smart activity. You are in an environment hostile to human life...and if shit goes south at 120 fsw and you can't mentally function well due to narcosis...it can be game over. If you are going to dive...

This one time? At troll camp? We all went skinny dipping? And used hand fins? Except it was one big fin? And you put both your hands in it? Sig line material? For the love of god don't you be getting any ideas about what to "forget" next time. The hair was bad enough. Me? Ideas? :l...
