Northwest Dive Club

Given I've not heard anyone else chiming in on the Titlow dive for folks not feeling up to DIW I'm going to have to call that off. Guess that meeting at church this evening I was trying to avoid gets me after all

I suppose I should add that doing Titlow is a great dive and would be open to joining anywhere there. I did my current check-out at that site so I'm familiar with it. If anyone else is interested in this because they aren't feeling up to it with DIW let me know!

Hmm... given all the caveats that were just thrown on this I'm going to have to bow out. My buoyancy skills are still erratic and my nav isn't fully up to snuff yet.
I really want to do this dive, but I want to know I'm capable of being safe doing it first!

I might be able to make it. Will plan on it, but I'm flying back in from being out of town and you never can tell sometimes.

And change of plans. Something just came up that is going to require my afternoon and evening. Next dive I can reasonably make is going to be 9/28 (the proposed DIW dive) unless there's something either this Saturday or next Saturday.

I'm curious, is it a Shearwater Perdix AI? I've been eyeing the computer for a while but haven't had an opportunity to try one

Looks like I'm out after all. Looks like the recent servicing on my computer was poorly done and now it needs fixing (water got in an corroded the battery compartmental)

I went down to Oregon to visit some friends and to see the totality. Absolutely the most awe inspiring thing I have ever had a chance to see. Unfortunately, the few photos I tried to take all turned out bad :( All the kids there seem to have been converted into eclipse chasers as they all want to go...

If Les Davis is within your radius like you seem to indicate then I can say it is an easy dive location and not particularly tide or current sensitive. There's stuff to see but you do need to get out to the old Narrows Bridge pilings that are scattered around the site. The drawback is that with the ...

Well, I wanted to be in, but I'm definitely out. Got me a headache that doesn't want to go away thanks to all the meetings I've been in all day.

Wanted to but just found out I need to drive down to Portland after work tomorrow. Adulting, it's hard sometimes. Especially when it gets in the way of diving!

I log my dives via Subsurface as well. It's handy when folks ask me where I've dived, I can pull up the logs on my phone and just start listing every thing
