Pumpkins at Netarts

Ok here it is. Does anybody have any interest in a pumpkin dive at Netarts Nov. 1. For those of you who havn't done this in the past, it is tough. Remember pumpkins float. Get in the Halloween spirit. Let me know what interest is out there. :supz:

Good to see you had a good dive. I went in there once and it was terrible vis., right at the east end of the jetty. I was over at Netarts on Sat. and had a good dive. I here you would like to try that sometime. Let me know. Dive it quite abit.

Re: Diving Netarts Bay this afternoon and or Saturday

I have dove Netarts many times some with Sparky some without. Six foot exchange is not too much if you don,t miss high slack. The channel is so narrow that there can be quite a current flow otherwise. Ask Sparky about getting thrown against the rocks. If you enter the water by the time in the book y...

Good to here from you Sparky. Didn't know if you fell off the earth. Still trying to get that Dive 100 done. :-({|= Went over once and the exchange was 11 foot, probably smart not to dive. Maybe will try next weekend. There is a equipment specialist class I would like to take on Sat., but maybe Sund...

Digital camera

Anybody know anything about an Intova digital camera? Ebay has several adds for new ones 5-6 megapixel for around $200-$300. Are they junk or ok?

Today the last day here, we went snorkleing at a place called fish bowl. I have never seen so many fish in such a small place. Every type of fish you see on the charts, even some you don't, can't name them all. Frog fish- parrot fish. morays and turtles. It was well worth the hike, 1/2 mile up the r...

Yeh, I dove with Ed Robinson and Prodiver both last time. Both of them are topnotch operations. The only reason I'm going Prodiver is the boat captain was raised in Forest Grove where I live.

Wednesday I went out to Molokini with Prodiver. They are a very good outfit to dive with. I think probably the best. Small number of divers, ( six max ), and every attention to detail. i even found that in talking to the captain of the boat, he was born and raised in the town I live in( small world ...
