Was nice meeting you -- Current was near to nonexistent everywhere we were as well... Vis seemed a bit better way north at the wreck on the orange buoy than it was right at the rock and south wall... The wreck is neat, though, so when you get back there, Ohop, it's worth it... HUGE lings hanging out...

So my wife was asking if Wolfie's just mate seasonally, or do they stick with the same mate? Or is this a one time deal like a gpo or something? I didn't know the answer... does anyone else?

+1 on the ThThTh folks... Great people and fun to be around. I'd wager you won't be disappointed and I'm not a betting man.

You're in a good place to hook up with buddies. There are a number of us with significant others or spouses that don't dive (myself included) ... and yes, the weekly meetings are a good place to start connecting with active divers. I've really enjoyed connecting with the ThThTh (south sound/tacoma) ...

Sund Rock Sat 8/25/2013 -- Vis in the first (warm) 30 feet was pretty poor -- 5 ft ish... but below that depth there was a sharp thermocline and it increasingly opened up... Didn't get below about 65 fsw or so but at that quite tolerable oh 30 ft or so.

Any reports from Hood/Sund? going there tomorrow am.

I was at Harper two weeks ago and can confirm that a 55 degree heading from the lightpole nails the Barbara G. Incidentally, the funding has come through and the pier will be replaced -- Probably sometime after the first of the year. My understanding is it will have both a high pier and a lower floa...

Welcome to the board, Rolf... Can't recommend the weekly dive adventures enough to meet new people and get more comfortable in the water. If you make it to the south end, perhaps we'll hook up at the south sound (socalled Thelasic Therapy Thursday ThThTh) event soon... Look for it in the Dive Planni...

I just spent some time with some wonderful friends from Singapore last night and incidentally one of them just pledged to get her diving certification with an agreement that we come to Singapore and nearby destinations (possibly with a diving theme) to visit... so any pointers ...
