Saturday Morning Dec 23 Dive Anyone???

I was planning on diving with the Underwater Sports Olympia group at Titlow on Saturday morning. Unfortunately due to the tides that dive isn't until the afternoon and I have a prior commitment in the afternoon. So I am looking for another option for saturday morning, anybody want to include a relat...

Re: New diver, but learning fast.

I plan to make an occasional ThThTh dive, but my AOW happens on Wednesdays for the past few weeks. Once that is done I will get up to Redondo on Thursdays.

Re: OWC SSI 11/19/17

Welcome to the board. I am new as well. And also suffer from slow draining ears. It usually lasts 3-4 days then clears up. My first dive I didn't equalize soon enough and forcefully equalized, my ears didn't clear for 3 weeks.

For the dive sites along Ruston Way in Tacoma, the Fish Peddler (Pacific Seafood) has great fish and chips or coconut prawns and decent beer selection. They are on Dock street in the old Johnnies Seafood place ne...

Re: Always Dive with a Buddy?

I'm glad I found this topic, especially jmartel's comments. I am a new diver and would not even consider going solo until I am much more proficient, but the idea of solo diving is attractive to me just for the sake of going when it's convienient instead of when your buddy is available. I also plan t...

New diver, but learning fast.

I’m Steve Swanlund from Puyallup. I am a newly certified OW diver. I was at Redondo this weekend doing a DM assisted dive to work on my boyancy skills and saw the NWDive Club get together. I am currently doing my AOW with Underwater Sports Tacoma, today we did our Nav dive and then a night dive wher...
