Re: In water recompression
If you are going to deco dive, you need to have O2 around. Thats a must have.
At the Marker Buoys dives, theres always an O2 kit. This isnt just for DCS, but other medical treatment until help arrives.

Re: In water recompression
Well, I once corked from 200ft with 45m of deco. I didnt die. I have quite a few friends that are sat divers, some having to run from one habitat to another. You have roughly 3-4 minutes to get out of gear and into another habitat I've been told. So rather than freak out, I took a breath, submerged ...

You also might consider one of the local dive clubs. The Marker Buoys are probably the most active.

Diving the SL Dowell in Lake Washington
Jeff and I dove the SL Dowell yesterday. It was too dangerous to surface scoot to the buoy, and typical idiot boaters were driving with inside the buoy. So we followed the underground pipes out to around 100 and swug left and intersected the line. Viz wasnt bad until we got deeper. By the time we hi...

Re: Possession Point - Tech Dive?
Honestly, unless you want to go deep just to go deep, there aren't many shore diving options in the 150 ft range in the Puget Sound. Lobster shop wall is the only one that comes to mind. Lobster shop wall, mofo, course marker, Kirbys, day island, watermans if you get permission to use the homeowner...

Re: Possession Point - Tech Dive?
The fingers are a great Tec dive. We've been down at least 150 and more. Always done as a dpv dive though. They kind closed it down though, now you have to get a permit to dive it. Which kind sux. Or else boat dive it. Nice structure. Further down the fingers you go the deeper it gets as I recall.
