I've got a friend at KOMO TV if we want it covered. I think Janna or Valerie should answer questions though - hopefully it wouldn't get misrepresented too badly. Let me know - I can always ask. The worst they can say is no thanks.

As a noob I got 2 hp130's and 2 hp100's. Very happy with them, and they're DIN or K. I prefer the DIN, but like the option for friends. I also have DIN to K adapters on my 1st stages. If you'd like to borrow one of each and dive/carry/fill them, you're welcome to. I'm high & dry for a while (at ...

I wasn't sure about that either! One of the key draws for us is the fact there isn't a ton of red tape, too much organization, rules, etc.

I just thought we HAD to come up with something for this purpose. ](*,) I think the way the NWDC runs is beyond perfect. \:D/

Hmmm... well, no - I haven't seen the dive casa! Please do tell!

It sleeps 12? Is it 6 bedroom with 2 people per room? What is the bedroom/bathroom arrangement? That would really simplify things (no trailor).

Tell me more! Tell me more! :bounce:

Aaah... warm water. Can you believe that there are people who are paid to take people on tours there - i.e. "You pay me to dive with you in beautiful clear fish-tank water." Maui was amazing too - but doesn't sound nearly as nice as your dive in Cozumel! Good report!

I know many (if not most) of you have read this book... I just picked it up on a business trip, after remembering Nailer's recommendation, and I simply can't put it down. Perhaps I'm way behind the curve here, but I had to post something. Anyway, if you haven't read this book yet, you really should ...

Monthly meetings? Officers? I'd say without a doubt that Calvin is our head-honch/CEO/club guru (obviously) :prayer:, and I think officers would be the moderators. :prayer: Could monthly meetings be counted as our daily stuff on the board? This group is so active that I don't see why this doesn't co...

December 8,9, & 10 would be the best for Mrs. Sounder and I (it's sounding like the doctor will sign off soon too! :supz: ). We're about 90% positive on the trip today, which should improve quickly once a few other things are tied up. :bounce: We will be towing an RV trailor with plans to stay a...

Pending the "all clear" from the doctor :bounce: , Mr. and Mrs. Sounder would tentatively be in (2 divers, but don't count us in yet) for December. We'd be interested in pulling the trailor (RV style) behind the truck for us so campsite information would be helpful as it is available. We m...

Nailer - did you take that with the video function of your digital camera or was that camcorder? Great film! I have yet to see it in person, but it sounds great. I've got two as well, both in the grocery stores. I saw #1 and my father witnessed #2. 1. Little boy in a shopping cart says (loudly & pointing) - "Mommy - that woman is really fat!" :pale: Whoops! 2. Little white girl helping her mom push the cart sees a black woman and says, "lo...

Hey Pez - on the weight plates... First, I am extremely new so please take what I say with a HUGE grain of salt. I love them - it adds 8# which still leaves enough on my belt to ditch but helps to spread the weight out. When I was borrowing an aluminum BP and wearing everything on my belt, my hips s...

Sorry I'm tardy - I'll try not to let that happen again.

I think it would make a great topic for another NWDC pizza night! My house is always available on the eastside on Pine Lake (on the Sammamish Plateau) but I would be a student NOT an instructor.

If there is a problem with diving with that condition, is it something you can be treated for and cleared for diving again?
