Re: Scooters. What do you have? Your likes and dislikes?
I have to take a look at those Genesis scooters mentioned here. Right now the most appealing is the Minnus. I used to have a Cuda, but the size/weight just made it not fun for me (already diving with a large camera). If I can find a small and fairly light scooter it would be something I'd consider ...

Re: Scooters. What do you have? Your likes and dislikes?
I just bought a new generation DiveX Piranah P1 last week and took it on a Deception Pass dive the weekend! I had two Cuda's before this and have been evaluating a wide array of scoots for the past year. I wanted something thats has plenty runtime, plenty fast and plenty fun and not outrageously exp...

Re: Found: Drysuit at Rockaway
Wow, I've heard of fins, masks, weights and all sorts of accessories left behind. But this is a first for a drysuit! a buddy of mine forgot his drysuit in Mexico not too long ago and after a feverish search amongst dive lockers in Seattle turned up empty, he called zero gravity in Mexico and they c...

Re: My cove 2 damage assesment
I agree, our initial survey was very shortly after they anchored.. the damage was in fact, minimal. DNR also sent divers down the day or so after they anchored and found the damage to be minimal.. But, as the tides (they were huge 10+ ft swings) swept the barge through Cove2 over the course of a wee...

Re: Anybody know what's up with cove2
The barge is being removed from Cove2 in the morning. They are being extremely cooperative and share a similar "ecological conservation" mindset than most of us here. The organizers were unhappy that they caused any damage and want to do the right thing to move it with zero further impact ...

Re: Lake Washington Dive Sites
Corsair is a fun dive, but its slap bang in the busy 520 channel traffic. Down South there is the PBM Mariner thats around 70ft.. there is also the Landing Craft very close to it in about 65ft. You can launch at Mercer Island be hit both those recreational dives in very short order.. they are also s...

Thought they were the same.. AireTex had a special late last year on the AireTex45 model pumping 4.3cfm for $2995 (brand new)
Bruce Dodson the owner of AireTex said the 45 model is a very low 1,100 RPM model thats rated for continues duty.
