Re: MONDAY Dive, anyone?

I'm interesting in diving, but I'd need to get a tank filled first. 11 would be more realistic though, so if we could meet then, and not 10:30... Btw, I live next to Marymoor.

Re: Some thoughts

Wuh-roh... I sense another thread banishment... You know, in all of this discussion recently of the Fundamentals class, I haven't seen anybody mention one of the things that is critical about it: Fundamentals requires a very specific gear configuration. Most new divers right out of OW, if they own t...

Re: Looking for dive Buddy Dec 22, Thursday night!

I'm going to have to bail out on Thursday dive @ C.I. Shenanigan's this week. I have a doctors Appt. @ 9:15am and then, I need to Christmas shop with the wife. Hope y'all have a great couple of dives! Keith Then you should dive after dinner. I'm contemplating diving that night. Are you still diving...

So its only 1.05 pounds added [...] Yes, make sure it is precisely 1.05 pounds, and not 1.04 or 1.06, otherwise all hell will soon break loose, and next thing y'know, you'll be grabbing for that Spare Air you've always been wanting to try out... http://www.diveservice.ru/gallery/products/prev/102.j...

Re: Sola 600's on sale...

My most favorite piece of dive equipment is my 35-watt HID Salvo (n/k/a Light Monkey)! No question about it. It is bright (without being too bright), very reliable, and has long enough burn time for me (4+ hours). The only dives I do not use it on are tropical day dives. For ALL other dives, I don't...

Day Island Wall Today at 4 - any takers???

Hello!

My dive buddy just bailed on me for diving DIW this afternoon. Are any experienced divers interested in diving DIW this afternoon? Would need to splash about 3:50 for the slack before a flooding current. Thanks!

I'm diving with Sergeant Pepper that night. I will suggest diving Redondo. We definitely would not be there for the first dive.

I'm interested in Thursday at DIW. The later splash/slack works better for me since I'd be coming from Downtown Seattle after work.

How about Thursday DIW?? The later splash/slack works better for me because I'd be coming directly from work in Downtown Seattle.

Re: Fantastic job, Sealife!

Sealife has always given me excellent service as well. Most recent example was earlier this year - after several years of diving a DC1000, the housing buttons started have all sorts of issues. I returned it to Sealife, and they sent me a new one no charge.

Stolen Gear from U District

Madison Bromel had lots of gear stolen recently. I do not know if she's a member of our club. Here's her email: hi all, i recently had about half my dive gear stolen from outside my house in the U district. please be on the look out for anything that might match, if you see anything on cg, ebay, etc...

Thank you very much everyone! I'm not sure what would other than Salvo/Light Monkey, so I better stick with what I know, and not experiment. I'm just very glad the flooded tube did not ruin the bulb. :joshsmith:

Need HID bulb protector for my light

Hi!

I cracked my bulb protector on my 35-w Salvo on that crazy Deception Pass dive last month, so I need a new one. I emailed Light Monkey, but have not received a response. Any suggestions on getting a new one? It looks like the lower part of a test tube. Thanks!
