Showers at Keystone ?
Any info appreciated on the "hot showers" at Keystone Jetty i.e. cost and location (do we access them by the ferry). My friend and I will be hitting the jetty at slack tide on Oct 12 then driving back to Spokane. I'd like to shower and rinse gear....is that all possible at this location? T...

Bob, your a diving machine!!!! I like to think you had more diving time because you saved time by not having to put on a drysuit et all.... I liked seeing the plentiful staghorn coral that was planted! It's always nice to see hard work payoff. Thankyou for your pix....keep them coming! I hope to go ...

Mesmerizing! I was trying to see what sex it was...it's easier to keep track of those appendages in a video...but I still have no answer. Mystic creatures ...the heartbeat of the Sound..

Good to know, Thankyou! I like following lines, and I appreciate the hard work of the people who establish them and maintain them.

Thankyou!! That's very helpful. I don't like to dive a site without having had someone else as a buddy who has dove it, but in this case I research amap before the dive. Knowing that info about the line is very helpful.

I threatened to cut my hair too! Yours is quite cute, I saw it in the recent vid you posted! I just have a standard 5mm neoprene hood. When I'm over next month I'm going to the shop you mentioned to get one of these. With the steam coming off your head, it sounds nice and toasty.
Thankyou!
Thankyou!

Short vid/pics from Redondo May 2014
I forgot I had this short video...in fact I'm trying to forget it because I forgot to charge the 18650's for my lights. Most of all I'm posting it so you can see yourselves (turn the music off, it's awful)! Also, we didn't pay our $25 for membership..... we only planned to dive the ar...

Does the "Waterproof" brand hood keep the hair dry or somewhat dry......I have long hair and get cold more from sopping wet hair. I've a hair dryer I plug into my car and that helps a little but it can't dry out the hair entirely...

Beautiful video!! Really nice editing, angles and music! I see the divers at 1:27 found the leopard shark den! I enjoy Catalina and kelp diving is my favorite. Thanks for taking me back there with your video!

Re: Spokane to Keystone Oct 12....Helpful suggestions?
We had hoped to get two dives at Keystone. I had thought about doing the pilings first, then the jetty around 15:00. Fingers crossed. I see from looking at YouTube vids there is a "line" about 40fsw connecting the jetty and pilings; I'm always up for a nice drift dive. Diving the trifecta ...

Re: Spokane to Keystone Oct 12....Helpful suggestions?
Thanks for asking! On our FB page I broke the sites down into photo albumns and some have write ups, FB>pictures>albums. They're site specific too. My favorite on Lake PO is the Trestle Creek Train wreck which can be accomplished on one tank easily. On Lake CDA I like the "trifecta" which ...

Thank you Jeremy, that did look a little bit odd... I amended my post so it didn't appear that we are boat diving Keystone! I thought too that it would be best to not dive on that incoming exchange in the morning, but try to hit slack...

Spokane to Keystone Oct 12....Helpful suggestions?
Looking at the tide charts for Keystone on Oct 12 doesn't look too bad for late morning......can someone let me know what the current looks like? This is one of my bucket list dives, first time I've dove it. My friend and I are in the South Sound diving on Saturday, and hoping to check off two dives...

Thankyou Jeremy, I am looking for something closer. I haven't been to EC in over 20 years, in fact I don't know if I could find the road again..but maybe it's paved now too! I haven't dove Keystone yet, it's been on my list for several years but I understand it's current sensitive....but kelp does l...

Good Kelp Diving Locations?
I usually lurk here, now I've got a topic. :partydance: I used to dive Eagle Cove up on San Juan Island, loved it, that was when I lived in Bothell. My drive is from Spokane... I'm interested in a good site or two that's not as far north that I can manage on a 3 day weekend. Otherwise I go to Catali...

THANKYOU everyone for your support, however I'd rather just say due to my own personal limitations I cannot move to a backplate wing configuration. I wanted this light for my deep dives and limited viz, however it's not a safe configuration for me and I consulted with a diver who is also a physical ...

Joshua, Thankyou for the URL, I haven't been diving for almost two weeks, so I'm a little messed up in the head from being dried out!!
