Do the currents pop up suddenly? Seems like if you were being cautious you could abort the dive whenever you felt the current picking up. And you wouldn't bother going very far if the current was feeling strong. Just curious if the danger comes more from people trying to dive regardless of the curre...

What is the nature of the danger? I've never dove a current sensitive site before. Do you get in when the current is slow and halfway through the dive the current suddenly gets big? Seems like you could get in slowly, see how the current is, and head for shore if the current ever gets very strong. I...

I've been wanting to dive Titlow for a long time now but would like to go with someone who knows the site and knows what they're doing.

Viz has been pretty damn good though imo. I like seeing things 60 feet away imo.

At Three Tree North we were at 60 feet and I looked overhead and could clearly see the surface. Awesome viz! Tons of jellies out right now too.

How does the viz go from so bad (3-5 feet on the 9th) to amazingly good (40+ feet on the 16th) in just one week??

Viz in Cove 2 this morning was the best I've seen all year. Actually, it was the best I've seen since Maui last November.
